Carole,

Yesterday I did some more digging on Mary Emma and Lydia Ann. Based on information I have I believe they are not twins. I also believe that Mary Emma was not born in 1850. Births on tombstone are not always actual, The1850 family census states the Lydia Ann was about one month old when she was born. Since censuses are usually over by the end of July that would mean Lydia was born sometime between May- July 1950. No way could Mary Emma be born in September 1950. Sarah Jane was born in 1853 and that leaves enough time for Mary Emma to be born in 1851-1852

Let me know what you think. By the way, I'm going to place Lydia Ann on Wikitree and move the 1850 census from Mary Emma's profile to Lydia Ann. You can adopt Lydia if you wish.

Hi Richard,

If it's OK with you, I will remove myself from your family members and then you can take them over. Please let me know, Carole

Carole,

Yesterday I placed a death record of this person on their bio. You need to take a look at it and consider a change of name. The death record doesn't agree with your name. In my family chart Lydia Ann and Mary are listed as two children and both born1850. I always thought they were twins. Maybe not. Alo the death record show she died on Feb 17 and not 7.
