Biography

George was born on December 22, 1857 in Sherlby County, Ohio and son of Samuel Shaffer and Elizabeth Cottrell. George married Matilda H. Scoby on December 22, 1881 by Z. Ross, M.G., Marriage Book: 6, page: 460 in in Shelby County, Ohio. He passed away on April 24, 1897 and buried in the Pearl Cemetery in Swanders, Shelby County, Ohio. [1]
