Biography

Hannah was born about 1758 and a daughter of Frantz and Elizabeth (Kielh/Kiel). Hannah married John Michael Singer . After their marriage, Hannah and John Michael lived in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania and then in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. In 1800, they were living in the Upper Paxton Township, Dauphin County and by 1803, were in Millerstown according to a records in Northumberland county court House. For a number of years they lived in a large stone house near Harrisburg and owned a distillery in the same area. Michael and Hannah were members of the German Lutheran or Reformed Church. Their first child was baptized in Stone Valley Church in Lower Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. Others were baptized in Hill Lutheran Church, North Annville Township, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania and a church in Harrisburg. [1] She passed away in 1814 and probably buried in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
