Biography

Isaac Armstrong Shaffer was born in 1844. He was the son of Peter Shaffer and Lydia Ann Mills. He was 25 during the 1870 census in Jasper Township, Preble County, Ohio with his wife Nancy, 3 children, his mother Lydia and working as a wagon maker. He was 55 yrs old at the time of the Noblesville Township, Hamilton County, Indiana Census of 1900. He was a farmer.He died sometime after the 1920 census in Wabash Twp, Tippecanoe, Indiana.
