Mrs. Etta Haines, 63, died Saturday morning at 2:55 o'clock at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rinebarger, of near Hillgrove, after a few months' illness. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Shank, was born near Arcanum on 25 August 1880, and had lived for the past several years at Dayton, where she was a member of the D. of A. Lodge.
She is survived by a brother, Orville (Dick) Shank of East Elm street, Union City; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Tille of Dayton; Miss Bertha Shank and Mrs. Henry Rnebarger of near Hillgrove, and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Hillgrove Federated church. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Rinebarger home in charge of Rev. H. G. Perry, of Salamonia, with Burial in the Lisbon cemetery.
The body will be returned form the C. J. Miller and Sons Funeral home in Greenville to the Rinebarger home at noon Sunday, after which time friends may call.
