1850 Census, Saluda Regiment, Abbeville, South Carolina, Owns 17 slave in slave schedule. Census listing as Clement R Sharp, 63,Esther, 58, Cornelius, Vashti, F, 20 and Amarintha H, F, 16. Neighbors are William Agnew, David O Hawthorn and Anna Sharp.

Will written 28 Jan 1866. Since personal property no longer exists with end of Civil war he gives what is left to son WW Sharp. Does not name all children, executives are Marshal and Robert C Sharp Jr. wife Esther is not mentioned.
