Biography
William was born in 1877. He was the son of Stephen Walter Sharp and Emma Moore. He was one of several boys born to his parents, and had only 2 sisters.
William became a dairy factory worker.
He passed away in 1959 when he was 82 years old. He was cremated at Purewa Cemetery and his ashes were scattered.
William had completed a will on 18 April 1957, only two years before his death. In this his beneficiaries were the St John Ambulance Association and The NZ Crippled Children Society Inc. His trustee, administering the estate, was The New Zealand Insurance Company Limited.
His last address is believed to have been 39 Burnley Terrace, in Mt Eden. This is the address noted on the affidavit of his brother Herbert Percy Sharp of Papatoetoe (see the Probate file at Archives New Zealand).
