Isaac married Julia A. Smith on February 7, 1842.[2] They had three children: Marshal, born in 1845; Sarah, born in 1847 and Benjamin, born in June 1848. Just a month after Benjamin's birth, Julia died. Four months later, in November 1848, Benjamin died.[1]
On December 26, 1849, Isaac married Bathsheba Sharp.[3] They lived on a farm in Millstream, Studholm Parish, Kings County, New Brunswick.[4] They had a son, Edgar, who was born in May 1853. Basheba died in July 1862, and Edgar died a year later, in July 1863, at the age of 10.[1]
Isaac's third marriage was to Fanny Bradley, on March 31, 1863.[5]
Isaac died in November 1892 and was buried in the Church of the Ascension cemetery in Apohaqui, New Brunswick. .[1]
