Biography
Donna was my adoptive mother. She herself was adopted as a baby by John Christopher Sharp and Harriet Elizabeth Essex (Sharp) of Alturas, CA.
Donna was raised in Alturas, CA where she enjoyed life with many friends. When WWII was in progress, she and a friend moved to Nevada to work. There she met Leon Cameron Boyle directly after the war ended and married. They eventually moved to her hometown of Alturas. She and Leon adopted me, their only child. Donna had a career as a telephone operator for Citizens Utilities in Alturas. She and Leon, years later, moved because of Leon's work for the railroad, where she retired in Sparks, Nevada
