Thomas was an Railway Engine fitter, born In Leeds and living in Selby
In 1841 Leeds Skyrack with parents John and Martha, and siblings. Robert, Harriet, and Mary No 1 In 1851 Knowsthorpe with parents John (Farm Labourer) and Martha, and siblings. Robert, Harriet, John and Mary No 2 In 1861 21 Spencer St, Micklegate, with wife Hannah, Sarah (3) and Joe Thomas (6 mths) In 1871 West Field, Brayton, Selby with Hannah (nee Clayton) and children Sarah, Joe Thomas, and Kate. In 1881 Green Lane, Brayton, Selby with wife Hannah and daughter Anne In 1891 Westbourne Road, Selby with wife Hannah and dau Anne In 1901 Westbourne Road, Selby with wife Hannah (now retired Fitter) In 1911 Westbourne Road, Selby with wife Hannah (pensioned loco engine fitter)
Thomas dies on 23 Apr 1914 and is buried in Selby Cemetery
