George Sharp was born 29 Jan 1880 in Wirt County, West Virginia to Morris Sharp and Elizabeth Hull.[1]

In 1880, Morris and Elizabeth Sharp resided with children and step-children in Reedy, Wirt County, West Virginia.[2]

About 1900, George M. Sharp and Mamie Taylor were married.[3]

In 1910, George M. and Mamie Sharp resided in Elk, Kanawha County, West Virginia. The household consisted of two sons and Mamie's parents, two sisters and two nieces.[4]

His World War I Draft Registration card stated that George Sharpe was a Teamster, residing in Nallan, Fayette County, West Virginia. He was born 29 Jan 1880 and his nearest relative was Mamie Sharpe.[5]

His World War II Draft Registration card stated that George McClellan Sharp was born 29 Jan 1880 in Wirt County, West Virginia. He lived in Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia and worked for Emperial Ice Cream Company. He had brown eyes and brown hair.[6]

George McClellan Sharp died 25 Sep 1959 in Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia. The County death record stated his parents were Morris Sharp and Elizaabeth Hull,and he was retired from the Imperial Ice Cream Company. The death record also stated that he was buried in Cunningham Cemetery in, St. Albans, West Virginia.[7]

Children of Morris Sharp and his first wife Sina Hull were Margaret and Harvey Sharp. Elizabeth was the mother of Levi Jennings. Morris and Elizabeth were the parents of Emma, Mary Ellen, Morris Elmer, George McClellan and Alexander Campbell Sharp.
