Elizabeth was born in 1856. She is the daughter of George Sharp and Kizzie Hamon.^[1][2]

Elizabeth Sharp married James M. Newport. They lived in Scott County, Tennessee, USA.^[3]

Elizabeth Newport died September 1, 1932, in La Follette, Campbell County, Tennessee, USA. She was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in La Follette.^[4]
