Jacob & Jacobina Ostrander (grandparents), dau. of Samuel & Sarah (Ostrander) Earing; died 5 Jun 1861 (g.s.) and buried LUTHERAN CEMETERY, West Sandlake, Rensselaer Co. N. Y. Gravestone inscription: "Gertrude Wife Of J. G. Sharp Died June 5, 1861 Aged 82 Years. Shed not for her the bitter tear Nor give the heard to dawn regret and though the casket moulders here The gem is sparkling now in heaven."
