Jacob George Sharp has German Roots.

Jacob Georg Sharp, son of Jurge Emmerich Scherp and Catharina Fliegring / Fleigring, was baptised on 19 June 1763 in Albany county, New York. About 1797 he wed Gertrauth Ehring (Gertrude Earing, Aring). He died on 6 July 1851 in Greenbush, Rensselaer county, New York. [1] [2] [3]
