Biography
Richmond Pearson Sharp was born in Rowan County, North Carolina, USA on Aug 27, 1814. He is the son of Captain Abraham Sharp and Dorothy "Dolly" Murr. He first married Mary Swicegood (1813-1862) in about 1841 in Davidson County, North Carolina, USA. He next married Barbara Catherine Davis (1826-1904) on Oct 30, 1866 in Davidson County, North Carolina, USA. He died on Dec 7, 1891and is buried at Saint Lukes Lutheran Church (Sandy Springs), Tyro, Davidson County, North Carolina, USA.[1]
