Biography

Byron was born in 1903. He is the son of William Sharp and Barbara Leffler. He passed away in 1919. ^[1]

Lived in Eagle, WI in 1905 Lived in Butler, Kansas in 1910

Byron died of complications of mumps while in the service in WW2. He never saw active duty. Archie brought his body back to Richland Center for burial.^[2]

Crystal (Sharp) Burnette

Archie Sharp once told me that Byron Sharp was in California in training for World War 1. He got mumps and was in the hospital. Archie said he visited him the day before he passed away and that Byron seemed fine. Byron was excited about being in the service with Archie and wanted to serve in the same place with Archie. Archie was the one who brought Byron's body back to Wisconsin.
