Sarah married William Musgrove on February 4, 1843.[2] Although they had no biological children, they adopted twin girls, Mary and Annie[3], following the death of their mother shortly after their birth in 1847.[4] The twins were the biological children of David Sharpe, Sarah's uncle (the brother of her father, Samuel) and Mary Ann Folkins, Sarah's cousin (Sarah's mother, Elizabeth Parlee, was the sister of Mary Ann's mother, Keziah Parlee).
Sarah died in April 1891 and was buried in the Sussex Cemetery.[1]
