James was born in 1895. He is the son of Robert Sharpe and Ellen Brown. In 1901 he was 5, a scholar living with his parents Robert and Ellen and siblings Teresa, Susan, Isabella, Hugh and Robert in Ballyduff Carnmoney, Antrim, Ireland [1]
He was killed in action in WW1 on 7th June 1917 aged 22[2]
