Biography

30 Mar 1548: Mentioned in the will of Lawrence Sharpey: I gyve and bequithe amongst all the children of Richard Wellar and Katheryne his wif equaly to be devyded amonge them savynge I bequeth to Lawrance Wellar xth to be paid unto the said Lawrance when he comethe to thage of xxi yeres The reste I will yt shall be devyded among all thother children of the said my daughter Katheryn Wellar aswell the daughters as the sons and to be paid unto the sons by my executors their parte as they do com to thage of xxii yeres a pece of them and to be paid to the said daughters at the day of their marage or at thage of xxii yeres if they marye not before.^[1]

Katherin died in 1573 and was buried on 15 February 1573 in Cranbrook, Kent.^[2]
