Charles Shaw was born in 1795 in Newport, Hants Co., Nova Scotia son of Jedediah Anthony Shaw and Phoebe Anne Mumford. Charles married Nancy Robertson on 12 May 1829 in Saint Pauls, Rawdon, Hants Co., Nova Scotia.[1]
