Biography

Florence is the only daughter, and eldest child of Rev William Shaw and his wife, Sarah Durdy. She was born in Horncastle, Lincolnshire on 12 March 1880,^[1] where her father was the Primitive Methodist Minister of Horncastle Chapel. She married Arthur Patrick Sparling Rockett in 1905, registered to Banbury.^[2]

She died in Selby on 17 July 1955, the wife of Arthur Patrick Sparling Rockett, and named Barre Rockett, mens outfitter.^[4] She was buried in Selby on 19 July 1955.^[5]
