Excerpt--Alva George Shaw, 76, of Grafton, died Sat. morning at Grafton City Hospital. He was born in Taylor Co. Spt. 3, 1892, a s/o the late George B. and Ardella Glendenning Shaw. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mollie J. Trader Shaw, who he married in March 1915; three children, Lyle A. Shaw and Earl E. Shaw of Grafton, and Mrs. Norman (Lillian L. ) Brown of Coltsneck, N.J.; one brother, Fred H. Shaw of Grafton; two grandchildren, Gary William Shaw and Evan K. Brown. He was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth H. Shaw; three brothers, Clyde W., Arile and Arlyle Shaw; and two sisters, Mrs. Lorena R. Rosier and Mrs. Maude Michael. Mr. Shaw was a retired conductor for the B & O Railroad, having retired July 16, 1962 with 46 years of service.
