These were a total success and soon had a big following. We were leaders in the design and building the Windale go cart track, It was then the best track in NSW, built to full FAA racing standards, with a reinforced timber fence right around. Basil's great knowledge of motor mechanics enabled him to tune up small motors to put out more power than they were ever designed for. Memory supplied by Laurie Macey - Basil's brother in law.
