The Find A Grave source claims he was born in late 1801, but it also says he was a veteran of the War of 1812, which seem incompatible. The DOB of this original profile was 12Nov1789, which is more reasonable, so it has been retained. Note that his wife Margaret was born in 1793, which is also more compatible with his 1789 DOB.
