Biography
Robert was born in 1866, the son of John Shaw and Mary Little.[1]
In 1901, Robert William Shaw married Jane Cook.[2]
He passed away in 1951, aged 84.[3]
The confusion over Robert and his nephew , son of his brother John Ritchie Shaw, also called Robert William caused his brother to be cursed by the wider family. The two Roberts were always confused. This Robert was called Hunter in family circles. To add to the confusion both Roberts married a Miss cook. [4][5]
