Isham was given 70 acres of land in Warren County by his grandfather, John Shearin, 3 April 1791 ^[6]

(DB18:260) 24 Nov 1810 - ISHAM SHEARIN to GEORGE PEGRAM for $80 silver dollars- 40 acres lying between Little Hubquarter Creek and Whitstone branch.... begin at 2 poplars Little Hubquarter Creek... down Whitson Branch....joining aforesaid GEORGE PEGRAMs line...to fork adjoining HENRY JONES line... to WILLIAM PEGRAMs line....
