Biography
Birth
Peter Sheehan was born on 26 August 1923 to Ellen Hogan and John Sheehan.
War Service
After completing schooling, he enlisted for war service. He was married to Anne before enlistment.
He was initially with the Army in the 1st Battery of the Canterbury Regiment, before joining the Air Force. [1]

- RNZAF with 6 Sqn Pacific.
- Service Number : NZ614389
In 1943, brothers Phon, Peter and Pat were moved up to Bougainville, Noumea as part of the South Pacific campaign.
Occupation
Peter was a car salesman.
Death
Peter Sheehan died in Christchurch aged 90 on 28 December 2013 [2]
Burial
Peter is buried at the Avonhead Cemetery, Christchurch, block P, plot 8 [3] [4]
