Ichabod served on two Coroner's Jurys, the first on 25 Aug 1692 and the second on 9 May 1697 both in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island. [6]
Marriage
Ichabod Sheffield and Elizabeth Manchester were married on 27 Dec 1694 in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island. Elizabeth Manchester was the daughter of William Manchester and Mary Cook of Portsmouth, Rhode Island. [1][8]
By 1714, they were living in Kingstown, Rhode Island. He served in the militia as a Lieutenant of the Kingstown Company in Feb 1714 in Kingstown, Rhode Island. He later served as a Justice of the Peace in June, 1717. In 1723, Ichabod Sheffield became the first Town Treasurer in South Kingston. He owned a considerable amount of land in South Kingston. [6]

Ichabod Sheffield II died before 4 Jun 1736 at the age of 66. His will was proved on June 4, 1736. Jeremiah Sheffield was named the executor for the will of his father Ichabod Sheffield II on 4 Jun 1736 in South Kingston, Rhode Island.

Looking through all the sources provided in this profile, I found nothing to indicate he had a son named William.
