DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Susannah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Susannah:
Sheldon-175 and Sheldon-394 appear to represent the same person because: According to the AFN on the orphan Sheldon-175, these are the same. Let's merge them.
Toller-1 and Sheldon-394 appear to represent the same person because: Brent and I discovered that the Susanna Toller, wife of Isaac Sheldon, seemed to be mixed with Susanna Sheldon, daughter of Isaac Sheldon. There is no other record of a Susanna Toller (the surname doesn't exist in the area) and they both have the exact same birth date.
I believe the birthdate of Oct 23, 1720 belongs to Susanna Sheldon Reynolds, wife of Robert Reynolds and daughter of Isaac Sheldon and Susanna Potter. The daughter has already been listed here with that birthdate. I was also able to find this information in the Thirty-First Annual Report of the Reynolds Family Association published in 1922 and currently at Stanford University, a scanned copy of the book is on Google free books.
I have a birthdate of 23 Oct 1720 for Susanna. I got the original information from microfilm 53. Descendants of James Sweet, Microfilm #0385003, Salt Lake City, Florence Wetzel. #385000 refers to The James Sweet family, vols. 4-7 of Mrs. Wetzel's notebooks.
Also I have this information. I try not to rely on Ancestral file, but it is information:

This is about Isaac who seems to have had 4 wives.I think we have to untangle Isaac before we delete.
The profile managers are still working on Isaac and his wives. Descendants of James Sweet microfilm of Florence Wetzel suggests she is a real person. Hang in there.
Hello - I believe this profile should be deleted. Isaac Sheldon did not marry a woman by the name of Susanna Toller. There is no documentation do this and I've never seen it on any of the trusted genealogies. My guess is that the name is a corruption of Susanna Potter, his known spouse and mother of his children. He is believed to have had a 2nd marriage to Sarah Kingsley (already noted here) although the only mention of her is by the Rev. Henry O. Sheldon in his book in 1855.
Thanks, Vic
