Biography
The uncertainty about Elizabeth's date of birth is because of inconsistent reporting in the census. In 1820 she was listed as 16-26(1794-1804). 1830: 30<40(1790-1800). 1840: 40<50. 1850 age 61(1789). Her gravestone at the Mann cemetery shows she died 11 Feb 1858 after living 61yrs, 11mo, 19 days--this computes to a DOB: 23 feb 1796. This would mean she was about 18/19 when she married Joseph Mann. They had at least eight children. One source suggests there were two more daughters born about 1818-1820.
