In the 1919 Australia, Electoral Rolls (1903-1980), Muriel Hudd was recorded living at Whitehall, Banks Place, Lonsdale, Melbourne, Victoria with her husband Alfred Ernest Hudd, an Engineer. She was employed in "home duties".
Muriel and Alfred were later divorced.
In the 1939 England and Wales Register, a divorced Muriel Shelley-Hudd (b. 18 Mar 1891) was recorded living at Worth Crawley, Cuckfield, Sussex, England. Also in the household was her daughter Charmian Shelley-Hudd (b. 28 Aug 1920) and one other (closed record as at 13 Jan 2024).

Muriel Shelley was resident at The Old Forge, South Heighton near Newhaven, Sussesx when she passed away on 26 January 1961 and was buried at St Marys Churchyard, Tarring Neville, Lewes District, East Sussex, England[3][4].
