When citing sources try to give enough information that someone can find that source regardless of the method used to find it or reference an image in the photo section. Where you know that there is a Wiki ID for a person named in this section try to provide a link to that person. List contributors, with links (if possible), in "Acknowledgments".
Using an asterisk before adding information will maintain the events in a bullet format. Double asterisk s will indent related events. A colon (:) will indent text (such as in this “Note” section). Double colons will double indent text. The first time you use a citation, use <ref name="nametag"> Descriptive Text</ref> where "nametag" is what you want to use for the name of the tag & "Descriptive Text" is your source citation. From then on use <ref name="nametag"/> to cite that citation as many times as needed. This will automatically add to the "Source List".
If you are adding information I would appreciate your following these guidelines. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Gary H White
(She may have had another sister - Ada Shelton born about 1894 per 1930 census for Horace W Shelton. Will do further research)
She passed away 23 Feb 1984 in Denton, Denton, Texas, USA. See Obituary in photos[2][4][3] Lillian is buried at Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton, Texas[5]

Marriage(s)
Lillian married Amos Granville Bratcher Sr on 25 Oct 1910 in Lake Dallas, Denton, Texas, USA[6] They had four children:
Grandma (Lillian Lee Bratcher Shelton) always believed Aime J. Freymond to be her father instead of Walter John Shelton, but her mother would never confirm it. She remembers going to a store, the clerk saying, "Aren't you Aime' Freymond's little girl?" She said they moved that night.
My mom (Lillian's daughter) said that Rebecca Jane Otts (Lillian's mother) was telling her all about Aime' and how he was the "prettiest man she'd ever seen", and how he had a long rope stretched across the bedroom with suits, shirts and shoes to match. She said he spoke only French, and they couldn't communicate, so she left him. Her sister, Mattie, secretly kept up with him and reported his actions to Rebecca. She said he gave up searching for them and moved back to France. (He was of Swiss origin, but possibly spoke French. His first name is French, but Freymond is Swiss. I got that info from a Freymond researcher in Canada.) When Lillian came into the room, she hushed about it and would never tell my mom or anyone anything else about it. Lillian was arguing with her mother once, and Walter said, "Oh hush up or I'll tell Dollie who her father really is." He called Lillian "Dollie" because he thought she looked like a China doll. Needless to say, she hushed.
If Lillian was Freymond's child, her birth was probably within a year of Rebecca's marriage to him Dec 21, 1882, so probably her birth date was actually Mar 31, 1884 instead of 1889. She said her mother wrote in the family Bible that she was born April 1, but she knew good and well she was no "April Fool". I really wish we could find that Bible. She would have been 100 instead of 95 when she died in 1984...entirely possible.
In the census records, Rebecca said she'd been married to Walter 12 yrs and that Lillian was 11. But she was born in Mar of 1889 and they married in Oct 1889. I suspect she fabricated more than just that. No one will ever know for sure. I have searched in McLennan Co because of a baby picture of Lillian taken in Waco. Supposedly she was born there. But I haven't found her birth records. TX didn't start requiring birth records until 1903. There was an 1890 census, but most of the records were destroyed. So there is no way to prove my theory. Freymond has been reported Fraymond and Frigmond as well.[10]
