Biography

Grover Cleveland was born on Sep. 24, 1884. He is the son of Jake, Jacob Shelton and Miltia, Mahala Phillips. Mr. Shelton died on Feb. 13 at his home at 204 East 12th Street, Cookeville. He was a native of Overton County, son of the late Jake and Miltia Phillips Shelton, and a retired timberman. ^[1][2]
