Hi! The Alice who is daughter of Ralph Shelton and Margaret Clere married John Heveningham (Richardson, Royal Ancestry, volume II, page 61 CALTHORPE 14) - no mention of Bedingfield. Source citations on this profile (stirnet & Lewis) don't support that she's daughter of Ralph Shelton & Margaret Clere.

stirnet (what I could briefly see) says Alice wife of Bedingfield is daughter of Sir Rafe Shelton (no mention of mother)

https://our-royal-titled-noble-and-commoner-ancestors.com/p2092.htm#i62854 has her as sourced to "Family Group Sheets, Family History Archives, SLC." (not a reliable source, but no mention of her parents)

In the absence of better sources, I intend to detach this profile from Shelton-456 & Clere-17 & remove the statement from the profile text that she's their daughter.

Shelton-457 and Shelton-1717 appear to represent the same person because: Alice Shelton Bedingfield was born about 1446. http://our-royal-titled-noble-and-commoner-ancestors.com/p2411.htm#i72441
