I created this profile,I did not put those comments on her profile, it was an open profile, Smoeone came and edited her bio, copied the text from her find a grave an and ut it here. there are no verifiable sources in the text, it refferences a website and an email the writer received about this woman, then the bio added a daughter named judith who according to the bio writer married a milo gamblin, there were no verifiable sources to support the info , I noticed the bio had been edited when you wanted to merge your Rhonda born in Pa who also had the same daughter as mentioned in the editeded bio, as the information in the profile yoou wanted to merge into this one had a different spelling for the first name, and was born in aadifferent state, and I had seen no record of the daughter named judith who was supposto be the wife of a milo gamblin, I rejected the merge, ezpaning to you why I did not feel they could be the same person. you then changed your subjects name and birthplace to match mine, and requested the merge again, the info from find a grave says that one person says this judith married an Armstrong, but they were wrong and claimed that the daugter judith married a milo gamblin, this may well be the same person as my profile, however, there is no documentation that I have found that she had a daughter named judith and that judith married a milo armstrong. since you rhonda/ roada now has this line attached to her I dont kow that it is the same person, documentation of the daughter Judith is needed, and of her marriage to milo. thats my view on the merges. do you have documentation on the daughter you say is from rhoda polly shelton? I would be interested to view it. if you want to send my any documents about your judith and milo. thank you

Wikitree has an open record of the changes to this profile. It shows Wendy Browne created this profile on 24 Oct 2019 WITH the list of children INCLUDING Judith. It also shows that mother Judith and daughter Judith SIGNED papers for the estate of the husband/father William.

I don't understand why all the information that was on this profile since it's creation 2 years ago, has been removed without any explanation. This seems to have happened because a merge reuest was initiated ... so it is very suspect.
Shelton-6062 and Shelton-3160 appear to represent the same person because: dups with same parents AND both profiles mention a daughter Judith and her husband Milo Gambilin. All one has to do is read the profiles for confirmation.
Shelton-6062 and Shelton-3160 do not represent the same person because: this is the problem I have with this merge, you have attached a daughter to her that is not documented. I can find no evidence that rhoda had a daughter named judith who married a Milo Gamblin. that is the problem I see here. if you have documentation that Rhoda had such a daughter who married a milo gamblin, please post it in the profile. I have documentation on Rhodas children and there is no Judith Gamblin that I can see. I see you changed the spelling of her name and her birth place to match the name and birth place of the profile I had made. she looks like the same person now, except for the daughter and the son in law that are attached to her. please provide documentation, web sites and emails are not documentation.
If you would only read the profile, you could easily see that Judith signed as one of her father's heirs. And the very source that you quote on your profile, names Judith as one of his daughters ... so your repeated rejection of this merge is very surprising indeed ! Perhaps you need help from a leader or mentor to help you understand things.
It is very hard to understand your confusion. Please re-read YOUR own profile which says ...

...
x . JUDITH S. GOUGH, b. February 15, 1813, Butler Co., KY. Steve Smoot said she married Jonathan Shelton Abt 1840. However, this was incorrect as she married MILO GAMBLIN c1827. She died about 1844 and he remarried to Margaret Edna GOUGH, daughter of Jesse GOUGH and Mary Ann LEEMAN.
Shelton-6062 and Shelton-3160 appear to represent the same person because: dups with same parents and same husband and some of the same children mentioned on both profiles.
Shelton-6062 and Shelton-3160 do not represent the same person because: born in different states, no documentation to support said daughter of this person
they were born in different states, I have seen no documentation of a daughter named Judith. if you have documentation , that is father will will, census records birth, cert or the like, please post here. info from a website that does not contain verifiable source information is not the same as real documentation. thank you
If Judith is a questionable, then she should be removed as a child with research notes and links to possible parentage.
But that does not affect the fact that Rhoda and Rhonda are dups (with a misspelling) and they have the same parents and spouse and thus need to be merged.
Obviously one profile has the wrong birth state and needs to be corrected, so a research note asking for a source should be placed on the merged profile.
All info relating to one individual should be in one place and not scattered over wikitree on different profiles.
