Research Notes
By 1861 it appears Eliza is now living with David Shepherd, (the younger brother of Frederick) as his wife, in Hunsdon, Hertfordshire.
Also in 1861 Frederick was recorded as a visitor in the house of their older brother William Shepherd in Bermondsey St. Mary Magdalen, Surrey, England. Also listed as visitors were Ann Lizzard, age 35 & Elizabeth Lizzard, age 10 months.[8]
By 1871 Frederick is listed as a widower, with a daughter Elizabeth age 10, born Oxford.[5]
This seems to point to Elizabeth Lizzard (in 1861), above, being the daughter of Frederick.
