Biography
Franklin was born in 1845. He was the son of John Shepherd and Martha Vercoe.

He passed away in 1927.
Auckland Star, Auckland Star, Volume LVIII, Issue 188, 11 August 1927 SHEPHERD. —On August 10, at Te Atatu, Franklin Skevington Shepherd, dear husband of Susan Shepherd; aged 82 years. Interment at Waikumete Cemetery, at 2.30 p.m., Friday. No flowers.

ME Harvey, Charles Bailey (have I got the right one, is married to Flora Mason Dennett Harvey) are married to descendants of John Sheppard & Unica Burdett.

SHEPHERD—ROWE.—On January 3, 1867, at the residence of bride's parents, by the Rev. Wm. Morley, Franklin Skevington, second son of late John Shepherd, to Susan, daughter of William Howe, M.P.C., of Mount Eden.—Present Tirohia, Te Atatu.
Note that the Rev. William Morley is married to Mary Elizabeth Harvey (nee Morley) is the widow of Charles Harvey ; Charles being the son of Rebecca Caroline Sheppard, daughter of John Sheppard & Unica Burdett.
