Shepherd-3260 and Sheppard-240 appear to represent the same person because: These two men have the same date of death, and both were married to women named Eve. Although the handwritten genealogy I have gives David's last name as Shepherd, later members of the family spelled the name Sheppard, and I am willing to believe the person who wrote out the genealogy was wrong about when the spelling was changed.
