Biography
Elizabeth Jemima was born on 9 Jul 1853 at Grahamstown, Cape Colony; she was the daughter of William Shepherd and Catharina Margaretha (Doyle) Shepherd.
She was 25 years old when she married William Moxon Nash, a 21 year old merchant from Eland Drift, in Port Alfred on 15 January 1879. Two sons were born of this marriage.[1]

Elizabeth was 64 years old when she died on 28 Jan 1918 at Port Alfred, Cape, Union of South Africa.[2]
