Biography

Priscilla Sherburne was born before 1 May 1715, when she was christened in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, the daughter of John and Ruth Sherburne.^[1] She died at Nantucket, MA, Sep 1767.

Priscilla m (1) Edmund James at Kensington, NH, 13 Jan 1728. ^[2] or 13 Jan 1732, at Hampton, NH. ^[3] He d at Kensington, c1735.

She m (2) at Kensington, 29 Aug 1738, Moses Sanborn.^[3][4]

The Daughters of American Revolution listing for Moses Sanborn confirms that Priscilla, who married Moses after Edmund James, her first husband, died, had the maiden name Sherburne. ^[5]
