Research Notes
The Dictionary of Canadian Biography (J.M. Bumstead) gives her father as Jaimy Sherman of Salisbury. A better source for Young Sherman is certainly necessary. Bumstead also says that "they had six children. After the death of his first wife Crandall married Martha Hopper of Sackville, and the couple had eight children."[1]
