Biography

Benjamin was a Friend (Quaker)

Benjamin was the son of Thomas and Ruth Shearman of Dartmouth.[1] He was born in say 1733 (estimate based on marriage date).[1]

He married Elizabeth Lapham, daughter of John and Mary Lapham of Dartmouth, on 5d 2m 1758[1]

He died in 1802.[citation needed]

Elizabeth Sherman, born 24d 4m 1759 [24 Apr 1759].[2] She was the daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth Sherman.[2]
