Shearman, William Bissell, widr., b. RI, farmer, consumption, Mar. 13, 1846, a. 86.
He was a soldier under Washington, also under Marquis de Lafayette, enlisted 1779 under General Sullivan. He also served in Vermont under Gen. Ethan Allen.
