Biography
Edith May Sherrill was born on May 29, 1905, in Transylvania, North Carolina. She married Clarence Lawton Allison on May 22, 1926, in her hometown. They had three children during their marriage. She died on July 5, 1991, in Brevard, North Carolina, at the age of 86, and was buried in Pisgah Forest, North Carolina.
