Norene Barnes was enumerated as undefined (daughter-in-law) of the head of household at 306 Walnut Street, Amarillo, Potter County, Texas for the January 17, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1895 in Texas and married as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Thomas J Barnes, wife Mary E Barnes, [son] Chester A Barnes, [grandson] Chester Barnes Jr., [granddaughter] Dorthy Barnes and [granddaughter] Callie E Barnes.[1]
Mary Morine Shefflett was listed as the mother of Rachel Morine Barnes who was born September 27, 1927 in Cochran County, Texas. The father was listed as Chester Arthur Barnes.[2]
Norene Barnes was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Precinct 3, Cochran County, Texas for the April 15, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1895 in Texas and married. She was first married at the age of eighteen as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Chester Barnes, son Chester Barnes Jr., daughter Dorothy Barnes, daughter Elizabeth Barnes, son Lee Barnes and daughter Rachel Barnes.[3]
