Biography
Edward Sheene was born in 1625 in Freckenham, Suffolk, England. He was a son of Edward Sheene and Elizabeth Ferrour.[1]
He married Dorothy Jermyn on December 1, 1648 in Watton, Norfolk.[2] They had three children:
- Jermyn
- Anne
- Sarah
They moved to Wymondham, Norfolk, where Edward died "a gentleman" in 1658. He was buried there on February 15, 1658.[3]
Research Notes
- They did not marry in Rushbrooke where Dorothy was supposed to be from.[4]
- In the 1658 will for Edward Sheene, it mentions his "son Jermyn," "oldest daughter Anne," and "youngest daughter, Sarah."[5]
