Biography

The daughter of Jesse Shipley Sr and Sylvania (Crider) Shipley, Ellen Shipley was born in Washington Township, Indiana[citation needed] in 1871, residing there with her family.[1] She married Edward Percifield, marrying in Brown County, Indiana on August 30, 1890,[2] having seven known children together and making their home in Clify Township, Indiana, in Bartholomew County.[3][4] Ellen Percifield passed away at the age of 55 and is buried at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, Indiana.[5][6]
