Born in Omaha and although I have lived away more than there, it will always seem like home. My parents divorced when I was young and I had little contact with my father so I have little information about the Shipley side of my family. My Mom remarried to a career military man so we moved around a lot. We lived in Colorado, Italy, Illinois, Texas, and back to Omaha where I graduated from HS, met and married my wife, and graduated from college. Went to graduate school in Wisconsin and then dragged my wife around as my career as a Rehabilitation Counselor developed. We lived in the bay area in California, Sioux City, Iowa, Lincoln, Nebraska, Springfield, Missouri and finally settled here in the Denver area where we have been for nearly 30 years. We have two great kids who also live in the area and two fabulous grandkids who we spend as much time with as we can. We retired early and have been enjoying traveling and spending a lot of time in our condo I Florida.
Any help with info about the Shipleys would be greatly appreciated.

Very exciting to see your Shipley / McCord marriages & roots. There were many marriages between the Shipleys & McCords. My mother was a Shipley. Abigail Banks Dennison
