Biography

Samuel Shipp ... [1] was born in about 1806 in Princess Anne Co., VA. He was likely the son of John B Shipp (1774–1836) and Hannah Bates (1786–1833).

In 1810 John Shipp was living in Princess Anne, Virginia, with his wife and two sons born in last 10 years. An older woman over the age of 45 was living with the family. Most likely these two sons were Samuel and John Shipp Jr.

Samuel Shipp married Amy Frances Huttlestone on March 5, 1838 in Princess Anne, Virginia.

In 1850 Samuel Shipp was living in Princess Anne, Virginia. He was listed as a Tutor living with Emily Shipp, George Shipp, Walter Shipp, Sarah Shipp and Saml Shipp.

I currently have no information about Samuel Shipp as a Senior. Father and son. The one marked Jr. is the information I have.

Amy Huddlestone and Samuel Shipp appear to have had 3 sons and one Daughter. Sam Jr and No other info at this time. Samuel E. Shipp Father and son appear to have the same middle initial but different middle names. So not senior and Junior.
