Biography

Martha was born in Ashford, CT July 23, 1825. Martha is the child of Sylvanus Shurtliff and Elizabeth Chaffee.^[1]

She married Aug. 18, 1844, in Ashford, Augustus Miller, who was born in Wales, Mass. He died in Willington, CT, Nov. 26, 1904.^[2].
