He married Annie Elizabeth Glasgow, daughter of John B Glasgow and Sarah Leamer, 24 Sep 1867 at Glascow, Cambria, Pennsylvania; (recorded in Clearfield);
He died 14 Dec 1924 at Boswell, Somerset, Pennsylvania, at age 81; he was buried 16 Dec 1924 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Glascow, Cambria, Pennsylvania.
Christopher was born in 1843. He was the son of Frederick Shoff and Wihelmina Ginter Shoff. C. J. Shoff passed away in 1924, and was buried at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Glasgow, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, in Section 24, Plot 48.[1][2]

C. J. SHOFF, 82 DIES AT HOME IN JENNERTOWN
Boswell, Dec. 14. C. J. Shoff, aged 82 years, died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Krause. He was born at Hegarty's Cross Roads, Clearfield county, Aug. 3, 1843, and was a son of the late Frederick and Minna Ginter Shoff. He married Anna Glasgow Sept. 27, 1867, at Glasgow, Cambria county. His wife died 21 years ago. Mr. Shoff is survived by the following children: Mrs. Ella Mahaffey, of Johnstown; Clair Shoff, of Olean, N. Y.; Luther M. Shoff and Mrs. H. F. Krause of Boswell; Harry J. Shoff, Norfolk, Va. He was a brother of Mrs. Martha Johnson of Ansonville, Pa.; Mrs. Frank Dunlap and Mrs. Thomas Mullen of Utahville, Pa., and Mrs. G. A. West, of Altoona. Mr. Shoff is survived by 27 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in St. Andrews Lutheran church, Boswell, tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the pastor, the Rev. S. S. Adams and the Rev. Elmer E. Rice Duquense, a former pastor. Interment will be in the Lutheran cemetery at Glasgow Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock, following services in the Lutheran church at that place, which will be in charge of the Rev. Dr. L. P. Young of Salisbury, missionary superintendent of the Allegheny synod of the Lutheran church.[3]
